To help others on the server stay safe and keep games fun and fair and enforce the set rules. What can you bring to Vulcan Network Prop Hunters? I can create a fun environment that people feel safe to game and love talking to new people. General Moderator Questions A person joins the server and begins to mic/text chat spam. What do you do? Ask them nicely to stop and tell them it's against the rules and if they don't gag and mute then for a small period of time and after that time if they keep spamming kick them. What is ghosting? Ghosting is when someone who is spectating gives clues or gives away hiders spots to hunters that are still alive through in-game voice or text chat. What is metagaming? Metagaming is like ghosting but it's people on a private chat between players and they give away hiders spots and or using each other to gain an unfair advantage in the game. List three different ways a prop can hide illegally: 1) Outside the map boundaries 2) Anywhere that you have to use !stuck to get too 3) Where they can not be seen or shot A player is found to be hiding in places where they cannot be killed. What do you do? Warn them they are in an illegal spot and ask them kindly to move out and if they refuse the teleport them out of the spot and make sure they don't do it again and if they do keep using the spot kick them. A player has somehow managed to exploit the map. What do you do? I would teleport them inside the map and let them know it is against the rule and try to figure out how they got outside the map and tell staff members and also make sure they stop exploiting the map and kick them if they refuse to stop. Someone is constantly asking for points and annoying other players. What do you do? Ask them nicely to stop and if they refuse then gag and mute them and if they continue kick them Basic Command Questions What is the difference between !mute & !gag? !mute will prevent them from typing in chat and !gag prevents them from voice chat If someone is stuck, what command do you use to teleport them to you? !tp/!bring What does !p do? sends a private message to a specific player Someone is constantly abusing players and staff members with no intention to stop, as well and having vile sprays. What command(s) is/are used in this situation? warn them about breaking the rules gag and mute them and clear the sprays and kick them if they refuse to stop.
