A moderator is a person that takes care of a server, while also making sure everyone in that server is having the best time while also obeying the servers rules so that everyone else can have a good time! What can you bring to Vulcan Network Deathrun? Months of experience and I am consistent active member going around making people happy and talk instead of typing for hours in chat, know almost all the active members and have a good time with them as well with all the new players. General Moderator Questions A person joins the server and begins to mic/text chat spam. What do you do? As soon as I join the server and see / hear I will immediately use Mute/Gag the player then let them know that they're interrupting other players. I after a few seconds or so I will quickly unmute/ungag to see if they have learnt their lesson. However if they do not understand, they will stay muted/gagged until they want to apologise. A Death is pushing all of the buttons before players even get to them. What do you do? Slay the death to stop any further button spam and then inform them of the rules they are currently breaking. If you have to, kick the player and if they keep up with the button spam they will be banned if they do not cooperate. You have received many complaints of someone dodging their duties as a Death. What do you do? Join the server and spectate the player and inform them of the rules they are currently breaking. If you have to, kick the player and if they keep getting more complaints kick the player and if they do not cooperate ban the player. A player has somehow managed to exploit the map. What do you do? Instantly slay the player and tell them they are cheating / ruining it for other. And if they're others trying copy that players actions, scare them off by saying "if you try and and do what that guy did, you will get kicked from the server / banned" Someone is constantly asking for points and annoying other players. What do you do? tell them to stop asking for points and just play the game for fun. however if they do not listen mute/gag the player. Basic Command Questions What is the difference between !mute & !gag? "!Mute" is for text chat "!gag" is for voicechat If someone is stuck in a trap, what command do you use to teleport them to you? !bring What does !p do? sends a private message to someone in the server Someone is constantly abusing players and staff members with no intention to stop, as well and having vile sprays. What command(s) is/are used in this situation? use the "!kick" command and eventually the "!ban" command if they do not cooperate. In what situations should the !slay command be used? when someone AFK is stuck in spawn and making everyone else who is dead wait for them. OR when someone is using exploits in a map / cheating. But however your mod application seems super repetitive and seems like you don't have much knowledge of the way some situations should be handled. Not + Repping or - Repping due to me not seeing you in game yet :3. Also I don't see where your age is listed on the application :3.| To help you out a bit with some things: A Death is pushing all of the buttons before players even get to them. We do have a command to force them as death, you could use this as-well. being !punish (name) Maybe use this before the kick and ban hehe ;) For the second one... Same command can be used. Slapping them is also a thing with !slap (name) before slaying them. when you slap them you could inform them to start playing properly and do their duties correctly, then if nothing simply slay them and then punish them, then kick and ban :3. You keep your cool and you're also very active. I think you'd honestly be a good staff member. I see that you're keen to play and do what's right. I see you know when to take responsibility for something. You have general understanding of what to do as a staff member and how to do it.
